About
The Vietnamese Student Association (VSA) at The University of Michigan is a dynamic and open organization dedicated to spreading cultural awareness and diversity on campus and in the community through a supportive and cooperative environment for those from all backgrounds.
Some of our events include the most prominent annual cultural show (DVN) involving over a hundred students to raise thousands of dollars for charity, paint the rock, game night, and group study sessions. We’ve collaborated with other organizations to host events that connect members through fun activities (many involving food 😉). Additionally, we have a Big/Little program called ACE that connects newer members with existing members through mentorship and bonding.

Mission and Purpose
Through social, cultural, philanthropic, and professional events focusing on the celebration and exposure of Vietnamese culture, our mission is to provide the necessary interaction between those of different backgrounds to build cross-cultural bridges and foster awareness of Vietnamese and Vietnamese-American culture. Our organization prides itself on being the voice of Vietnamese and Vietnamese-American students on campus and encouraging a diverse membership that works towards unifying members of this campus and the greater Ann Arbor community.
