  • Q: Do you have to be Vietnamese to join

    • Absolutely not! We welcome anyone who has a good sense of humor. Come and learn some Vietnamese culture or come and just hang out!​

  • Q: What do you guys do?

    • We hold events that showcase advocacy and participate in service event. We also just eat food and have fun with quality people and learn about culture!​​

  • Q: What is ACE?

    • ACE is the acronym for Anh Chi Em which translates top Big Brother, Big Sister, Little Sibling in Vietnamese. This family/mentorship program is intended top make the UMich and VSA community feel even smaller with Anh and Chi's serving as student mentors top other students of similar interests. 

  • Q: What is DVN?

    • ​Our annual culture show showcasing traditional dances and modern ones as well. We welcome everyone to come and participate in the show check the calendar to see when our meet and greet is for more information or talk to any boardie especially DVN boardies!

The Vietnamese Student Association aims to build cross-cultural bridges and foster acceptance and awareness through activities focusing on the celebration and exposure of Vietnamese culture. The Association prides itself on its diverse and unified membership and dedication to decreasing cultural tension on campus.
